Custom Your Sportswear From Here
Fexwear is a sportswear manufacturer and wholesale supplier providing OEM, ODM and private label services to brands, retailers and companies in 30 countries. Founded in 2010, we operate our own self-owned factory with in-house knitting, cut-and-sew, sublimation, embroidery and quality-control lines — and we take a programme from a rough sketch or a finished tech pack all the way through to labelled, packed cartons, with minimum order quantities starting at 10 pieces.
Most suppliers sell you one thing. A factory sells you a category, a trading company sells you whatever they can source that month, and a manufacturer sells you production capacity. What Fexwear sells is narrower and more useful: we make sportswear and activewear, in our own factory, for buyers who need a specific thing made to a specific standard. That distinction matters most when something goes wrong — with a factory, the person who made the garment is the person who can fix it.
This page is the full picture: the four ways we work with buyers, the categories we produce, the countries we deliver to, what quality control actually covers, and how a programme moves from enquiry to cartons.
Custom Sportswear Manufacturing Services: OEM, ODM & Private Label
Our Service Includes
For Customization
Fexwear brings your sportswear visions to life, transforming your ideas into fully realized clothing. You supply the design, fabric specification and artwork; we manufacture to it. This is the right choice when you already have a proven product and want to scale it. From sketch to sample covers how a design becomes a garment.
For Wholesale
Fexwear supports wholesale purchasing for a wide range of apparel, including activewear, sportswear, teamwear and private label ranges, with minimum order quantities from 10 pieces per style. Retail-ready packing and barcoding are standard. Our wholesale programme for Shopify and Amazon sellers covers the marketplace specifics in detail.
For Manufacturing
At our self-owned factory, Fexwear produces sportswear, gym clothes, fitness wear, tracksuits, teamwear and activewear. Self-owned means the people who make the garment are the people who can change it — which is the difference between a supplier and a factory partner when a specification has to move.
For Private Label
Fexwear specializes in private label services, offering leggings, sports bras, t-shirts, hoodies and more under your own brand. A complete private label programme covers woven sew labels, sublimated tags, size and care labels in your wording, hangtags, retail packaging, barcodes and a branded polybag.

For Specific Countries
For the United States
Fexwear is an experienced sportswear manufacturer and wholesale supplier serving the USA, with retail-ready packing, barcoding and labelling built to US market requirements. Air freight to most US destinations runs around a week, sea freight three to five.
For the United Kingdom
We supply the United Kingdom with private label sportswear, activewear and teamwear ranges, with labelling and packaging built to your market spec. Factory vetting is part of due diligence for most European buyers, and we support it directly.
For the European Union
EU buyers should flag compliance requirements in the first enquiry, because documentation and certification lead times add to the schedule. We hold BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX and SMETA for labour and social audit, OEKO-TEX for material safety, and ISO-based quality management.
Canada, Australia and beyond
We export to 30 countries in total, with air and sea freight to Canada, Australia and other markets. Tell us your destination in the first enquiry and the packing spec will be built in from the start rather than retrofitted per market.
Country and market pages
We manufacture and ship to 30 countries, and each market has its own labelling, packaging and compliance expectations. These pages set out what we supply into each one — useful if you are buying for a specific market rather than a generic wholesale run.
Fabric and Materials
Material library
Polyester-spandex
The workhorse of this industry, available in any colour and easy to source recycled versions of. Our fabric selection guide covers how to spec terry, fleece and brushed-back options without over-ordering on the wrong weight, and the fabric types guide covers construction options in more depth.
Nylon-spandex
Softer hand and better recovery than polyester at a higher cost, and worth it for premium and seamless lines. The elastane versus nylon trade-off is worth reading before you commit to a composition.
Cotton-rich blends
What most lifestyle activewear is actually made from. It feels and photographs like clothing, which is the point — but it pills at the hip and absorbs sweat, so it belongs to the lifestyle half of a range rather than the training half.
Interlock, terry & fleece
From a 120 gsm interlock for a fitted top to a 450 gsm heavyweight loopback for a premium hoodie, plus French terry and brushed fleece. More on how jersey knit is constructed.
Quality Control and Compliance
What inspection covers
Physical & material tests
- Colour consistency — panels compared against the approved sample under daylight, catching a shade drift between dye lots.
- Measurement audit — a spot-check across the size run, because grading errors appear at the extremes.
- Stretch recovery test — stretch, hold, release and measure, with a 3% residual deformation ceiling.
- Opacity test — light-table test on pale and mid-tone fabrics, including two layers overlapped.
- Burst and tear test — focused on seams and gussets, the highest-risk joinery points.
- Colour fastness to wash and sweat — sublimated prints tested to confirm the ink does not migrate or fade.
Compliance & packing
- Compliance support — BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX and SMETA for labour and social audit, OEKO-TEX for material safety, and ISO-based quality management.
- Retail-ready packing — folded to size, polybagged, size and care labelled, and barcoded with GTIN or UPC as required.
- Carton marking — your carton marks rather than ours, because a mixed delivery has to be identifiable on arrival.
- Reorder matching — patterns, trims and artwork kept on file so a reorder matches the original run.
Minimum Order Quantity and Pricing
What actually drives unit price
Collaborating with 30+ partners to minimize costs in material sourcing and garment production, but fabric remains the biggest cost lever. Nylon-spandex at 190 gsm is roughly double the cost of a cotton-rich blend at the same weight, before finishing.
Sublimation of an all-over panel costs meaningfully more than a single-colour screen print, but the per-unit cost falls as coverage rises. Our printing methods guide compares them properly.
Gussets, flatlock seams, moulded cups, contour waistbands, lined hoods and colour-matched zips each add a setup and a sewing operation.
A five-size run costs more per piece than a two-size run because setup time and panel changes both grow.
Label creation adds real cost at low volume; sublimated tags add almost nothing. Our private label guide covers what a full programme includes.
Volume tiers
The drop in unit price happens in steps, not smoothly, and the biggest step is usually at a few hundred pieces per style. The wholesale buyer guide covers how buyers structure these tiers and where the real breakpoints fall.
Order Timeline: Enquiry to Delivery
Working backwards from a launch date
We review your design, confirm the fabric, give a costed quote, and confirm what is achievable at your quantity.
From sketch to sample: you send artwork or a sketch, we produce a sample for approval. Allow three to five days for a standard sample, longer for a complex one.
Samples come back with your written approval. Fit changes after approval mean a second sample, so it pays to be specific in the first round.
Knitting, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, labelling and finishing. Two to four weeks is typical for a moderate order; complex multi-style programmes run longer.
AQL inspection, retail-ready packing, and dispatch. Air freight is around a week; sea freight to Europe or the US runs three to five weeks.
Plan on roughly ten to twelve weeks from enquiry to delivery for a standard programme. If your date is immovable, tell us in the first conversation — we would rather decline a rushed order than ship something that arrives without time for your own quality check.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities start at 10 pieces per style and colour, genuinely per design rather than per order, so you can develop several styles at ten pieces each. Practical minimums rise once you add a full size run or several colourways. Sample cost is credited against your first bulk order.
Can you match our colours exactly?
Yes. We dye to your exact Pantone reference and check against a physical swatch under daylight viewing, because monitor colour is the most common source of disputes. Saturated shades can shift slightly between dye lots, so we recommend a lab dip for those.
What artwork file format do you need?
Vector files — AI, EPS or PDF — give the best results. For sublimation all-over prints, a high-resolution raster file at 300 dpi at final size is acceptable. We can work from a rough sketch if you are early in the process.
Can you ship to our country?
We ship to 30 countries and can arrange both air and sea freight. We produce retail-ready packing and barcodes where your market requires them, so tell us your destination in the first enquiry.
